Had breakfast here a few times and it was very good. The service was great on one occasion. The French toast cobbler was especially good which had a blueberry and crunchy topping. I also really liked the yogurt bowl with berries.

I had Salmon with farro which was delicious. The staff were all welcoming and very attentive. The restaurant was very nicely decorated. The bar stools were extremely and it was hard for me to get in and out. The restaurant is in the Kimpton Hotel so most customers appeared to be staying at the hotel.

We loved this place! We were staying at the Kimpton and just stopped by here after dinner for a quick drink and dessert. I got the Wilson (not exaggerating, best cocktail of my life, best balance of fruitiness with hint of ginger). My partner got a beer, I think Miller Lite. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and olive oil cake. The bartender was super nice and friendly. Service was super quick. The place was very sleek and modern. I also loved that we were able to easily charge our meal to the room. I would be back just for the cocktail alone!!!!

For the last 2 days, I have eaten in this restaurant and I've enjoyed everything. The service is amazing and the food let me tell you about the food. The cornbread is a go to. The clam buccatini was good. The rigatoni was delicious. Chef Marcellous, has blessed hands. I left full and happy. Great drinks too!!!

Best omelette I've ever had. Soooooo good. The gnocchi was also fantastic. Service is fantastic. Both servers I've had there are great.

We went for Sunday brunch around 11am. We actually called that same morning for a reservation on a very busy weekend and we were surprisingly able to get a table for 8. If you didn't know, this restaurant is attached to a really stylish boutique hotel. It doesn't have its own bathroom. Instead, you have to go to the second floor of the hotel for the restroom which is accessible via elevator or stairs. The host at Square 1682 was extremely friendly as was our waiter. Our party maybe waited 10 mins to sit. I ordered the Wings and Waffles with a side of eggs and Turkey bacon. Those wings?? So good. Crispy and moist with a nice little zing and spice but not overwhelming. You only get 4 wings, but there should be more! And those waffles. Amazing!! They have little sugar crystals inside so each bite is crispy, but soft, warm, and deliciously Sweet. I didn't need to douse it with syrup. I as able to just dip eat bite and have enough flavor and sweetness. Im not from the area but when I return for a visit, ill definitely be coming back for brunch.

Square 1682 is the restaurant inside the Kimpton Palomar Philadelphia hotel. New American food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. There's also a bar. The hotel's breakfast (included when booking) is here. They do honor the breakfast vouchers and the daily food & beverage credit. If you're staying at the hotel, this restaurant is a pretty good option: it's a convenient and decent experience that won't cost much. If you're not staying at this hotel, it's still an OK restaurant, though I wouldn't go out of my way.
